I had a comfortable stay at the hotel, with clean and well-kept rooms and friendly staff. The location was great for my needs, although some areas needed updating. The dining options were decent, but could improve. Overall, I found good value for the money I spent.
The hotel is conveniently located near downtown Carson City with spacious and modern rooms that were clean and comfortable, but the proximity to the main ac pump was a bit of a letdown. The staff was mostly very nice and resourceful, with a minor issue involving one bartender. Dining at the Black Bear Diner offered delicious options with fast service, but sushi was also available. The facilities were satisfactory, with variegated amenities. The location was convenient for our needs, being close to shops and restaurants.
This hotel has its ups and downs. The rooms are a bit small and noisy from the busy street, but fortunately, they are equipped with all the essentials. The service is exceptional, with staff that always goes above and beyond to make your stay special. The location might not feel safe for families with kids, but it's convenient for exploring nearby restaurants and bars. Dining options are limited, especially with the fixed offerings at the attached diner.
